San Diego

The past week has been the most relaxing week that I have had in such a long time.  It was full of family, friends and fun!  We spent a day on the beach with Amy and her beautiful little girls.  Riley had a blast with the little girls.  I am constantly amazed at how great she is with little kids, it really makes me wish we could give her a little sibling.

Of course my Dad had many sand creations and loved having little ones around to keep him on his toes.  Taylor and Rikki were typical 16 year olds....need I say more?  They are so fun to be around, I really lucked out with my girls!

 

On Saturday, we went to the San Diego Zoo, and as usual we loved it.  We are so lucky that my parents live in San Diego and we have free vacations!

Mike flew in on Monday to take us to Sea World.  He was planning on surprising me, but forgot to tell everyone else not to tell me...so not such a surprise :)  But, still fun!  I swear that Mike turns into a 7 year old the second he enters any amusement park.  It was hysterical, he was more excited than the kids.

And now.....I am back in Arizona....for one day.  I leave for New Zealand tomorrow afternoon, and I am definitely NOT ready!  Last minute errands, packing, cleaning, laundry, more laundry....the list goes on! The challenge of the day....to see if I can keep that suitcase under 50 pounds...oh boy!
